(March 13, 2021)

The “Scholars Honoring and Awards Program” brought together past, present, and new receivers of our scholarship that primarily benefit students studying Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and related subjects like nursing and medicine from all universities across the country. CAF fully sponsors the scholarship program, and beneficiaries are chosen through a competitive academic and interview process – it is for scholars!

“Every time I speak with young Liberians, my hope for a better and brighter future for our country gets renewed; we have some of the smartest young people in the world. All we need is to support our people and create an environment of high standards where people can be rewarded for good work and good behavior and punished for bad work and bad behavior,” said Mr. Cummings.

As part of the program, a “Ethics and Etiquette” to prepare them for a brighter and better future is required. They will also be asked to sign an Honor Code where they will pledge to live a life of integrity and help others as they have been helped. Congratulations to ALL Cummings Scholars!!!
