Cummings Africa Foundation is presently developing its Agriculture Program and is looking to focus its support in several areas along the agribusiness supply chain. Liberia has rich and fertile soil and abundant rainfall and thus the likelihood of success and the high potential for Agriculture is evident. CAF is exploring working with Farmers and Cooperatives, and Agribusiness Entrepreneurs on exploring access to capital, farm to market linkages, food processing and manufacturing, packaging, and West Africa regional market penetration strategies.
CAF will rollout its program in Agriculture in the coming months after its consultative meetings with multiple stakeholders and experts in the sector.
